Roles & Responsibilities:
Manage and drive system level validation of hi-tech wearable products following normal New Product Introduction (NPI) development schedules
Program manages product validation efforts and report status to the using agreed forums and tools
Drive and execute validation to meet key deadlines and priority goals
Leading teams, delegating work, monitoring work progress, and Status Reporting to customer
Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) for quantifying system performance of NPI prototype hardware for comprehensive product validation
Develop program schedules based on complex dependencies. Identify critical path items
Drive continuous improvement with the functional domains. Improve and develop processes in how status, data, and issues are reported and tracked
Working with cross-functional teams leads to defining test plans, test procedures, drive test execution, and data collection
Proficient in understanding when/how to escalate issues/risks/blockers and know when to ask for help
Utilize various project management tools to help manage deliverables (action tracking, gantt charts and schedule visuals, critical path)
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent industry experience
5+ years' work experience in consumer electronics industry and end to end hardware development processes
Excellent technical program management skills. Proficient in developing complex schedules, estimating resource needs, driving actions, publishing meeting minutes, driving weekly customer status meetings
Experience in one or more relevant areas: EE testing (SoC, Memory, high speed interfaces) Firmware/Embedded Software, Audio, Connectivity (WiFi/BT), cameras, displays, sensors electro-mechanical fixtures
Experience in developing test strategies, encompassing the creating of test plans, design of test cases, development of custom tools, and formation of testing architectures
