Production Tech

Position Description: 

The Production Technician II is responsible for production operations within Boston BioProducts. Must have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced lab environment while maintaining high standards for the final product. This position is also responsible for the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the production area, which includes chemicals, materials, and equipment.

Responsibilities: 

Performs general housekeeping in compliance with the standards required

Demonstrates a sound knowledge and understanding of GMP requirements

Demonstrates the care and safety necessary to properly safeguard facilities, equipment, product and co-workers

Performance and adherence of MFG protocols and batch records pertaining to filtration and assisting peers as needed

Assembles, cleans and operates production equipment (i.e. filters, pumps, pipettes, BSC, benchtop surfaces, etc.)

Develop a better understanding of how to be supportive of new processes and initiatives

Create a company culture which is representative of company values

Requirements: 
2+ years of experience in pharma

Strong character and willingness to work with others

Familiarity with bio products, chemistry, and molecular work
