Key Responsibilities

Front-Line Support: Act as the primary point of contact for end-business users in the Rates trading desk.
Onboarding and Integration: Manage the onboarding and support of new processes into the MAPS organization.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong partnerships with business stakeholders, application development teams, and infrastructure teams.
System Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor critical trading system environments, proactively identify and resolve complex issues, and develop tools to improve efficiency and stability.
Release & Change Management: Implement releases and ensure adherence to change management policies.
Incident & Problem Management: Handle major incident management and conduct thorough problem management to prevent recurring issues.
Reporting: Accurately track support efforts to provide effective management reporting.

Technical Skills

Operating Systems: Primarily Linux
ITIL: Certification or demonstrated experience applying ITIL principles
Scripting: Unix Shell, Python
SQL: Intermediate level proficiency (multi-table joins, grouping, stored procedures)
Infrastructure: Well-rounded understanding of network, server, storage, and messaging components.
Trading & Risk Systems: Experience supporting and troubleshooting trading and risk management systems.
Market Data: Familiarity with Bloomberg and Reuters.
