Job Description:
The IT Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team tasked with the design, analysis, programming, maintenance, debugging, and modification of medium to complex and specialized computer information systems in a client/server and web environment. This role facilitates the exchange of information between network systems and personal computers. The IT Supervisor evaluates staff work products, assigns tasks and sets priorities, and conducts staff meetings. The role also involves overseeing the release management of IT services and modifications to ensure the development, testing, deployment, and support of timely and effective software releases (e.g., Application Project Management [APM]).
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise staff responsible for designing, analyzing, programming, maintaining, debugging, and modifying information systems.
- Oversee the release management process to ensure timely and effective software releases.
- Act as a liaison across all functional areas and work directly with areas responsible for service/product delivery (e.g., network staff, department managers, project review teams).
- Make recommendations for APM and system modifications to meet business objectives.
- Manage the process of IT task initiation, prioritization, and approval.
- Ensure APM progress is documented through the Application Support Scrum Board.
- Coordinate development and measure performance of software releases.
- Prepare reports and summaries on APM status and release management.
- Research best practices in IT to support cost savings and efficiency for provided IT services.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Evaluate business objectives that require system enhancements, determining feasibility, cost, time required, and compatibility with current systems.
- Apprise senior IT management and Ohio Department of Health (ODH) customers of APM development status, issues, and concerns.
- Ensure that critical success factors are being met and review performance metrics, assessment processes, and reporting schedules.
- Support the development of IT services to ODH customers through research and implementation of best practices in IT.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
- Experience in Project and Portfolio Management.
- Ability to work hybrid, with 2 to 3 days onsite in downtown Columbus
