Program Manager (Data Center)

Summary:

Roles and responsibilities-

• Manage programs associated within area of responsibility.

• Work closely with both internal and external partners to streamline data center launch schedules by critically assessing and refining current procedures.

• Offer operational perspective analysis on new data center designs to ensure that they meet the standards of reliability, efficiency, and scalability that are essential for operability and datacenter availability.

• Engage with 3rd party maintenance suppliers for contract/agreement set-up.

• Attend design review meetings for new data center builds to highlight operational concerns.

• Be a representative for data center Operations teams during execution of end-to-end data center construction projects.

• Support engineering and construction teams in facilitating inquiries requiring input from Operations.

• Develop and maintain reports and tooling to clearly communicate status of assigned projects.

Required Qualifications-

• Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related work experience

• 3+ years of working experience in mission critical facilities and infrastructures

• 3+ years’ hands-on experience in a similar Program Manager role

• 3+ years’ experience in a 24x7x365 production environment or related experience

• 3+ years’ experience in datacenter design, construction, commissioning and onboarding processes or related experience

Preferred Qualifications-

• At least three years’ experience working with collaboration platforms (e.g. SharePoint, Teams etc.)

• At least two years’ experience with reporting and data analytics systems & platforms (e.g. PowerBI)

• Strong working knowledge of physical data center infrastructure and technology

• Willingness to work flexible hours, non-business hours, or other scenarios required by business needs

• Knowledge of design, construction and commissioning techniques, terminology, and documentation

• Practical experience with building management systems and automation, controls & framework.

• Ability to initiate, drive and delivery projects, analyze complex problems and communicate plans and findings to internal customers/stakeholders
