Key Responsibilities:
Preparing for product launch of a new NDC API-based travel platform for technology partners and travel agency consumption
Design and implement processes to assist in travel agency or developer onboarding and integration
Creation of artefacts and content to assist customers in evaluating, acquiring, and operating a new content channel
Analyzing and documenting user needs for a variety of customers including buyers and product operators.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
Key Skills; Product Owner /Product Marketer /Launch Manager /Business Analyst
New Distribution Capability (NDC)
Experience with airlines, hotels, travel agencies.
4-6 years of relevant work experience
Prior experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, Product Marketer, Launch Manager, or Business Analyst for a B2B product
High-level knowledge of travel related industry segments (airlines, hotels, travel agencies), including understanding of NDC (New Distribution Capability.)
Basic project management skills with the ability to coordinate and visualize activities, dependencies, and deliverables
Ability to understand customer motivations and
Self-motivated, solutions-oriented, multi-task capable, and have a demonstrated ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
Strong organizational skills and comfort using a variety of tools for managing information and content
Experience in technical product management or operations at an airline, travel agency, online travel distributor or GDS
Experience with NDC standards and implementation
Experience with customer journey mapping and customer segmentation techniques
Depth of experience in launch management for a globally available B2B product or service
Development experience using SOAP or RESTful APIs
Experience with Business Model Canvas or Value Proposition Canvas toolset
