Program Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Program/Project Manager with a strong background in software development and a keen understanding of security products, particularly VPN tools. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of release and scrum cycles and be adept at managing cross-functional teams. This role requires someone who can seamlessly coordinate between different departments and ensure the successful delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities:

Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with various teams, including hardware, software development, and security, to ensure alignment and smooth execution of projects
 

Product Management: Lead the delivery of security products, particularly VPN tools, ensuring they meet quality standards and timelines

Scrum & Agile Practices: Utilize scrum fundamentals to manage sprints, plan releases, and drive continuous improvement

Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans, track progress, and manage risks to ensure successful delivery

Application Development Oversight: Leverage a background in application development to oversee software projects, ensuring they align with business goals and technical requirements

Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones

Tools & Documentation: Utilize Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation, ensuring all information is accurately captured and easily accessible

Qualifications:

Experience: 4-7 years of proven experience in software-related program/project management

Technical Background: Strong understanding of security products, especially VPN tools. Experience with hardware platforms is a plus

Methodologies: Solid understanding of scrum fundamentals and experience in managing release cycles

Tools: Proficiency in using Jira and Confluence for project management and documentation

Desirable Skills: Experience with embedded systems is a plus

Product Delivery: Demonstrated experience in delivering complex products on time and within scope
