Job Description

 

• We are developing an intuitive, interactive, and visual web applications for archiving, searching, displaying, and distributing complex neuroscience data.
• We are looking for a senior-level programmer who will work with a team of 2-3 junior-level programmers in building an advanced neuroimaging data repository.
• This individual must be proficient in Java (including servlets), JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSP, AJAX, and MySQL and have experience assessing project requirements, assigning and reviewing programming assignments, and fixing programming bugs. Both front-end and back-end experience is required.
• We focus on building visual and interactive web pages to manage medical images (MRI, CT, ...) and information collected by studies that research brain disorders due to disease, etc.
• The first assignment is to assist building a new type of search page from UX designs.
  
   

Qualifications:

 

• Can consider candidates with Bachelor degrees in Computer Science if they have 5 or more years’ experience with front-end development.
• Five years of progressive systems development experience
• Well-versed in CSS and responsive design with little reliance upon 3rd-party libraries
• Knowledge of JavaScript, JavaScript libraries, jQuery, HTML/HTML5, and CSS 2/
• Knowledge of AJAX, JSP, Java, Servlets, SQL, JSTL
• Experience with MySQL, Tomcat, and Linux
