Operations lead · Years of Experience: 10+
5+ years' Program/Project Management experience
2+ years' experience in status reporting to C-suite executives
• Program Management: Should have a strong track record of successfully managing mid/large IT projects (2M+ in terms of revenue OR 20+ in terms of team size). Experience on Agile and Waterfall both methodologies will be a plus
• MS tool skills – Excellent hands on skills with 'MPP/PPT/Excel'
• Leadership skills – Should have a strong track record of building and leading high-performing teams (should have some demonstrated history of led teams achieving beyond goals)
• Communication skills – Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
• Analytical Skills – Should be able to quickly understand problems and fast arrive at their solution. Foresighted decision making is a key to success in this role
• Technology acumen: Should have a solid understanding of core and popular technologies around AWS, APIs, Web-services and Java/j2ee
• Domain knowledge: 5+ years of automotive domain experience and exposure to connected/autonomous vehicle would be a big plus
• Tracking and coordination skills – Should have a successful track record of follow-ups and bringing things to closure in complex global ecosystems such as of VW Car-Net (having multiple vendors, multiple geographies, internal/external customers, people from across the globe/multi-cultural, ..)
• Hands on, Self-driven, Solution oriented and Customer focused
• Strong analytical ability to quickly understand the issues, debug and arrive at solutions
• AMS support experience: experienced increasing overall maturity of service delivery and service management in multi-vendor and global cross-functional teams.
• Understand System integration concepts and especially API specifications
• Ability to create flow diagrams to create an operational view of the functionality
• Good exposure to automotive domain, preferably in the area of connected vehicle
• Performing operational tasks like monitoring, analysis, reporting and prompt attention to issues
• Proven expertise in service continuity and planning.
• Strong platform and product operations management experience. Experience with product based delivery of cloud services and operations.
• Drive direction, maturity and measurement of consistent infrastructure, consistent operations, flexible consumption, and technical/business metrics and reporting across all services and providers.
• Automation and Engineering: strong DevOps understanding with experience in supporting operations automation
• AWS Cloud experience and certification is strongly beneficial
