Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve L2 production support incidents for applications using Progress DB
  • Should be willing to work in Shifts and weekend support for Maintenance Activity

 

Skills

  • Sound knowledge of Database concepts
  • Strong technical skills Progress  (should be good at writing queries)
  • Experienced in Unix platform and Shell scripts
  • Should have good troubleshooting skills to troubleshoot production issues, and should possess good technical skills to be able to do permanent code fixes for bugs and work on minor enhancements
  • Candidate should possess experience in client facing role

•    Resource will be required to provide on-call support during EST hours. He/she will have to keep monitoring emails and work on issues if there are any during off hours and weekends.
