Job Description:
Join us as a Project Engineer and contribute to our dynamic work group by closing gaps in production configurations left by the previous IPV Manager. Your role is crucial in supporting the successful launch of New Product Introduction (NPI) products. As a Project Engineer, you'll be responsible for configuring and deploying software systems to our internal production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Update BOM configuration spreadsheet for accurate records.
Develop new configurations to meet tight schedule deadlines.
Update procedures to facilitate effective training for team members.
Attend engineering meetings, gather data, and provide status reports.
Support day-to-day production software issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Electrical Engineering (preferred).
No consideration for an associate’s degree.
Technical Skills:
Required:
Software configuration experience; Knowledge of Software Configuration Management.
Mechanical understanding of automotive systems.
Electrical understanding of sensors, inputs, outputs.
Good understanding of application/infrastructure design and application deployment.
Desired:
Knowledge of automotive parts, sensors, and mechanisms.
Software configuration management or data management experience is a plus.
Proactive team player willing to learn new skills and take on varied assignments
