Project Manager

Austin, TX (Remote within Texas)

6 months Contract with possibility to extension

We're looking for an excellent Project Manager to manage a couple of projects under DMI (data modernization initiative).

• Monitors and manages project quality to ensure project deliverables are acceptable and fulfill the terms of the project contract or specifications.
• Compiles and distributes project information, status reports, and project budget expenditures for portfolio of projects.
• Works with business users to define project requirements
• Creates documentation to capture requirements and address changes in original project.
• Determines the optimal resource mix for the portfolio delivery, and schedules activities to achieve the organization’s goals.
• Participates in different phases and activities of the systems development lifecycle such as requirements analysis, high-level design, code review, quality assurance testing, implementation, and maintenance.
• Participates in continuous process improvement activities that support other sections within ISS.
• Uses an Agile systems development methodology to develop product and system specifications and deliver a quality product to end user in a timely manner. Utilizes various methods to prioritize projects.
• The project manager will be ensuring deliverables meet defined project requirements.

Required:

• Project Management in IT Environment
• Effective written and verbal Communication
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products
• Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis
• Ability to clarify, structure and prioritize project requirements
• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction

Preferred:

Azure DevOps PM experience
