Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or certification in Operations, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field plus 3 years of experience or 5+ years in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, Smartsheet.

Skill Requirements

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to interpret present findings/recommendations clearly.

 

Job Purpose And Responsibility

  • The Project Manager oversees team leadership, Project Plan/Schedule management, and fosters teamwork and decision support for stakeholders in the TEA Order Initiative.
  • This role entails managing the five initiatives under the TEA Order, with particular emphasis on Priority 3, aimed at backing the SPED Data Project through necessary collaboration with teams.

Scope Of Work

  • Lead and manage project teams to achieve project objectives efficiently.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage the Project Plan/Schedule, ensuring timely progress and adherence to deadlines.
  • Facilitate collaboration across team members to promote effective communication and teamwork.
  • Support and make recommendations in decision-making processes to stakeholders, enhancing project outcomes.
  • Oversee the coordination of the five initiatives within the TEA Order Initiative, ensuring seamless integration and execution.
  • Focus specifically on Priority III, offering targeted support for the SPED Data Project through strategic collaborations.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to stay on track.
  • Engage with stakeholders to provide updates, gather feedback, and adjust project direction as necessary.
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and tools.
  • Plan, control and document the system setup, testing and going live tasks.
  • Lead project sessions including facilitating, preparing and communicating agenda, expected outcomes, list of
  • participants, location (in person, remote or hybrid), deliverables, action items and others.
  • Develop, document, update and follow up the project plan including timeline, budget, resources, deliverables, task
  • list and RAID (Risks, Action Items, Issues & Decisions) log in SmartSheet and Google Docs.
  • Document and follow up action items, issues, decisions in SmartSheet and Google Docs.
  • Facilitate, document and communicate project meetings including adding video recordings.
  • Other duties as assigned that are related or affect the deliverables or outcome of the TEA Order Initiative.
