Job Description:

The Senior IT Project Manager (Nursing Programs) is a consulting position responsible for end-to-end project management focused on three projects within Nursing Programs focused on ANA’s CDC grant, Project Firstline; Healthy Nurse Healthy Nation; and the ANA’s racism work, the National Commission to Address Racism in Nursing and ANA’s Historical Reckoning related to racism. Has the ability to motivate, support and understand their teams. Interfaces with all areas of the ANA Enterprise affected by the project including Marketing, Communications, and functional users. Provide web editing and CMS support to cross-functional teams and manages platform improvements, enhancements and integrations. Appropriately assesses and manages issues and risks throughout the life of each project. Prepares weekly, monthly, and quarterly project status and strategic reviews with appropriate audiences including IT Leadership, business and technical owners, and Executive Sponsors. Plans, executes, and implements all projects to deliver intended outcomes on time, on budget, and within the scope of defined programmatic priorities following ANA EPMO standards. Manages all aspects of the project life cycle, overseeing team members through all phases of project completion.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1.80%End-to-end project management from Initiation through Closing including RFIs/RFPs, proposals, budgets, phase documentation, project plans, communications, coordination and scheduling of tasks, monitoring, testing, and resource management.
2.10%Stakeholder management: builds rapport with stakeholders, resolving conflicts as they arise; ensuring goals, objectives, and direction of projects are aligned to strategic goals
4.10%Adheres to ANA EPMO project management standards, processes, and documentation requirements

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years overall information technology project management experience or equivalent specialized work experience
  • 5+ years successfully managing digital projects
  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
  • Know a bit of everything that goes into web projects, from strategy and digital marketing considerations to prototyping and visual design, front and back-end development, and hosting and networking.
  • Managing projects that involve Enterprise level CMS (such as Episerver or similar)
  • Familiarity with SEO and Google Analytics
  • Microsoft Project Power User
  • Microsoft  knowledge and skills
  • Microsoft Office and SharePoint knowledge and skills
