Project Manager

Responsibilities: 

Project Leadership: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of software development projects, from conception to completion with focus on AI. 

Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria. 

Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, including developers, data scientists, and other team members. 

Agile Practices: Utilize safe agile practices to manage project budgets, timelines, and quality requirements. 

Technical Expertise: Understand AI technologies, machine learning, and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure (desired) or AWS, or Google Cloud). 

Risk Mitigation: Identify and address project risks, ensuring smooth execution. 

Stakeholder Communication: Present project updates, manage expectations, and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams. 

Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of scalable, reliable, and secure AI solutions. 

Monitoring and Optimization: Continuously monitor project progress, identify areas for improvement, and optimize processes. 

Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. 

Proven experience managing successful software development projects, esp. AI. 

Ability to work 3-4 hours with US East Coast time (EST) with team members based in Northern Virginia, USA.  

Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services and tools. 

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams. 

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively. 

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks 

Ability to translate the technical into business language 

Ability to lead others and Curiosity & desire to grow and learn 

Agile certification (e.g., Scrum Master) is a plus. 

Guide business and technical decision makers on creating business value on top of the Azure platform through Architect Design Sessions, Ideation, Workshops, and Rapid Prototyping 

Preferred Skills: 

Knowledge of generative AI models and their applications. 

Experience working with large datasets. 

Cloud platform certifications (e.g., Azure Certified AI Engineer).
