Description

Responsibilities:

  • Documenting DR runbooks, testing DR applications, and assessing DR governance
  • Enhancing the Disaster Recovery framework and improving resiliency for Tier 0 - 4 applications
  • Reviewing runbooks and recovery checklists for each application
  • Coordinating and facilitating interviews with application owners and infrastructure SMEs to capture recovery processes in runbooks
  • Conducting reviews with stakeholders and finalizing Tier 3 and Tier 4 Runbooks
  • Assessing current state risks, impacts, and gaps by application to meet RTO/RPO goals
  • Collaborating with application SMEs and stakeholders to optimize configurations for better recovery and resiliency
  • Working on backlog of improvement opportunities with the existing Program Manager
  • Assisting with DR tabletop and failover exercises, including planning and testing
  • Auditing DR runbooks and ensuring they are up-to-date and approved
  • Establishing processes and controls to maintain an evergreen DR process
  • Exploring, reviewing, and recommending tools to enhance operational resiliency
  • Tracking and reporting on progress, priorities, issues, and risks to stakeholders and the Oversight Committee

 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of IT Disaster Recovery experience.
  • 5+ years of IT infrastructure operations experience.
  • Familiarity with application SDLC.
  • High-level understanding of SQL and Oracle databases
  • Business Continuity certification (CBCP or CBCI) -preferred
  • Strong Business Continuity experience leading BC efforts in the absence of certification

Education

Any Graduate
