Job Description:
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing air quality compliance projects and corrective action plans.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and air quality standards.
- Excellent project management skills, with experience in planning, executing and closing projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent) is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Initiation:
- Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules for air quality compliance projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments related to air quality.
- Facilitate project kick-off meetings and stakeholder engagement.
Execution and Monitoring:
- Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and regulatory requirements.
- Track project progress, milestones, and deliverables with a focus on air quality improvements.
- Conduct regular status meetings and report to stakeholders, including environmental agencies and community groups.
Quality and Compliance Management:
- Implement quality assurance processes specific to air quality data and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with environmental standards, organizational policies, and best practices.
- Conduct project audits and reviews to ensure regulatory compliance.
Risk and Issue Management:
- Identify and assess project risks and issues related to air quality management.
- Develop and implement mitigation and contingency plans.
- Monitor and report on risk and issue status.
Resource Management:
- Allocate resources efficiently, including environmental experts and monitoring equipment.
- Monitor resource utilization and performance to achieve air quality targets.
- Facilitate communication between environmental scientists, engineers, and stakeholders.
Project Closure and Evaluation:
- Ensure all project deliverables, including air quality reports and compliance documentation, are completed and accepted.
- Conduct post-project evaluations and lessons learned sessions, focusing on environmental impact and outcomes.
- Archive project documentation and ensure knowledge transfer for future projects
