  • Description As a member of the SalesForce.com Technology Program Management team, the candidate is the focal point for delivering technology solutions to our business partners.
  • This role will provide exceptional customer service to business partners in the Revenue Management business area by delivering technical solutions, business process changes and ongoing stabilization support to realize business value and objectives.
  • You must possess excellent communication skills, the ability to drive decisions and projects to completion, escalate status, issues, and risks appropriately, and enjoy working in a highly dynamic and collaborative environment.
  • You will be accountable to ensure project commitments and deliverables are met. You will interact daily with the Technology Program
  • Management, IT development, QA, business systems analysts, operational support, cross-functional business leads and process owners to ensure the smooth delivery of the deliverables.
  • You will be required to regularly prepare and present to executive sponsors for project status and to drive decisions. You will facilitate and schedule regular team meetings and own weekly project status reports.
  • This role will assume overall release management where you will maintain and communicate the release schedule and manage associated processes and milestones. In addition, you will lead and manage highly complex and data-sensitive QA and UAT testing cycles.
  • You will also act as an Agile Scrum Master to facilitate and adhere to our internal Agile methodology, principles and practices and to remove impediments from the team to enable them for success.

 

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

 

  • Assume project management functions for assigned initiatives including risk management, issue management, status reporting, team meetings and executive steering and stakeholder meetings and communications.
  • Own overall release management for assigned initiatives, including release planning, release change control, release readiness and managing deployment to production.
  • Act as Scrum Master for the IT Revenue scrum team, facilitating agile processes, coaching, guiding and removing issues for the team.
  • Work closely with Technology Program Management in planning, managing and deploying releases to the production environment.
  • Partner closely with IT Product Management to achieve business objectives, priorities, product vision and success metrics.
  • Work closely with analysts, development teams, quality assurance, and other teams to execute the comprehensive project plan.

 

Required Skills:

 

  • 8+ Years of experience
  • Bachelor's Degree, project management and information systems software development lifecycle experience.
  • Expert project management skills, especially communication skills, project planning, risk management, team management and organizational change management.
  • Must have solid experience all aspects of a major implementation, including planning, development, testing, parallel, production release, support and post-release stabilization.
  • Must have hands-on experience in developing, leading and managing highly complex and data-sensitive QA and UAT testing cycles.
  • Knowledge of business applications, with a focus on Order to Cash, Financials and Revenue systems.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a concise and objective manner.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience working with large, complex projects. Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a dynamic, changing environment.
  • Desired Skills Has experience with Agile methodologies and principles. Preferably Agile/Scrum.
  • Has professional project management credentials (such as PMP) or equivalent. Has experience with Oracle Financial Applications experience including integrations to CRM and other back office applications.
  • Has knowledge of Revenue Recognition policies and practices. Has experience or is familiar with Oracle BPEL integration architecture. Background in business process analysis, requirements, design, quality and testing.
  • Experience with on-demand SaaS applications, web services APIs and various integration technologies is a plus. Salesforce.com and other ERP systems is a plus.
