client has a need for a Project Manager Consultant to plan and coordinate a large organization building move. Primary Responsibilities Understands the Project drivers and expected business outcomes. Develops the Approach in collaboration with key stakeholders to achieve business outcomes. Develops and implements cross-functional move plan with roles and responsibilities. Monitors and reports the move budget. Coordinates the archival historical documents. Coordinates the disposal of private data. Coordinate the work to digitize client files with internal staff. Coordinate Information Services staff to develop Laserfiche repository for files. Facilitates the day-to-day aspects of the schedule, budget, scope, and quality. Logs and follows through to disposition Project-related risks, action items, issues, and decisions; escalates issues and risks as needed. Monitors progress, tracks hours, and reports status. Mandatory Qualifications B.S. or B.A. degree (4 year) (or Associates degree plus an additional 5 years’ experience) 5+ years experience in a project management role Proven competency managing building moves involving client data and personnel records Intermediate-level skills MS Office Suite and MS Project Desired Skills Experience managing projects in state, county, or city governments or non-profit sector PMP certification from PMI, or other Project Management certification
