Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and adaptable professional to fill the role of Scrum Master/Project Manager. This individual will play a crucial part in driving successful project delivery by combining their IT project management expertise with Scrum practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT project management and a proven track record of transitioning into Scrum methodologies. Experience in the financial services or banking industry is highly desirable. Proficiency with tools such as Planview or Jira is essential.

Responsibilities:

Actively participate as a member of the PMO management team, providing support and ownership of issues

Develop and maintain effective working relationships with the business community, understanding their informational and operational needs while ensuring they are informed of documented PMO development policies

Follow established Project Life Cycle (PLC) policies to create project documentation and project plans, including goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, risks, contingency plans, and resource allocation

Document current and future state business processes in collaboration with business partners

Work with IT staff to document technical designs and coordinate design reviews

Formulate and define project scope, schedule milestones, tasks, and objectives

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree

Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PMP, CSM, PMI, CSP, SCRUM, CAPM, SCM, SA, SPC, or ACP are preferred

Experience:

Strong IT project management background

Transitioned into Scrum methodologies

Minimum of 3 years of experience in the financial services or banking industry
