Role Objective

As a Field Inventory Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, monitoring and control of Field Inventory teams who will visit multiple locations in New York City to conduct a detailed physical inventory of our client’s IT related assets and perform device upgrades as needed, while providing excellent customer service and ensuring all SLAs are met. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Optimize resource allocation and ensure a smooth induction of resources into the operation.
  • Provide motivation and direction to a team of operations staff for the successful completion of asset management and inventory tasks.
  • Oversee the coordination of visits to various client sites, accordingly, confirming staff availability and access to asset inventory.
  • Delegate responsibility appropriately and empower team members to deliver results.
  • Ensure each team member has adequate skills and knowledge of the operation and its processes.
  • Facilitate regular communication and coordination involving the client with the rest of the operations team and answer questions related to the inventory project’s progress, performance, and decisions.
  • Provide regular status updates to the client via emails, scheduled status meetings, ad-hoc discussions and etc.

Essential Knowledge & Experience

  • Excellent oral communication and written skills coupled with a customer service orientation.
  • Experience leading teams in a field operations or project environment.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Outlook and Teams).
  • Operational knowledge of compute devices (desktops, laptops, tablets etc.).
  • Working knowledge of Intune, ServiceNow, a CRM or an ERP is a plus. 
  • Experience using an iOS or Android compatible mobile scanner is desirable, but not required (will be trained).

 

Key Requirements

  • Four years of leadership experience as a manager or supervisor.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Management, desired but not required.
  • Travel to various worksites throughout the five boroughs up to 20% of the time.
  • Pass an extensive pre-employment background check, including fingerprinting and a criminal history check.
  • Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and must adhere to CDC COVID-19 guidelines.
