Python Automation

Roles & Resposibilities:

• Preserve and manage existing Python scripts, ensuring seamless operation and addressing ad-hoc scheduling requirements for month-end, holidays, and weekend support as needed.
• Develop new scripts and troubleshoot existing ones as required, demonstrating a strong proficiency in Python.
• Provide support for data extract/transform/load (ETL) jobs, ensuring the efficiency and reliability of data processing.
• Design and implement a user-friendly web interface (UI) to facilitate the management of local mapping data and remote job monitoring and scheduling.
• Develop and implement email-based reporting systems to enhance communication and reporting capabilities.
• Develop databases, construct SQL queries, and offer robust support for BI platforms, including but not limited to Tableau, Power BI, Excel, and other databases.
• Document all development activities comprehensively, maintaining clear and concise records.

Required Skills:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of hands-on development experience with Python, SQL, and Git.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of concepts related to Network, FTP, TCP/IP, Web service, Rest API, and SAP.
• Web Development Skills:
• Exhibit proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, Flask, and Django development.

Educational Background:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Science, or Engineering.

Additional Skills:

• Supplementary expertise in Selenium, Pandas, and web scraping is considered advantageous.
