Role: Software developer

Location: Bricklane, London 2 days office in a week

Duration: 52-week Contract (1 Year)

Rates: £66 per hour Inside IR35

Summary:

The main function of a Developer is to design, develop, and implement applications using Python programming language and Django web framework to support business requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyse highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design complex software components and applications

• Act as an expert technical resource for modelling, simulation and analysis efforts

• Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution

• Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area

• Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment

• Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required

• Development experience in Python, Django, SQL, Postgres and confidence in working with industry standards like Gitflow and PEP 8.

• Hands on experience in designing, developing and successful deployment of highly available, highly scalable web applications from end-to-end

• Hands on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLC

• Any knowledge in Front-end development (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and Telco

Networks is a plus

Must have skills

1. Software development using Python and Django

2. Data manipulation with Postgres SQL, Pandas and Numpy

3. Logical thinking; Analyse a problem and define the solutions

Good to have

1. Experience in working with industry standards/tools like Gitflow and PEP 8

2. Google cloud skills (BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Cloud composer)

3. Front-end development (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript)

4. Experience in Telco Networks is a plus
