Python Developer

Role Description

This is a contract role for a Python Developer located in New York, NY, with flexibility for some remote work. The Python Developer will be responsible for back-end web development, software development, object-oriented programming (OOP), programming, and databases. The Python Developer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify effective solutions to complex problems.

Qualifications

• Strong background in back-end web development, software development, and programming
• Proficient in object-oriented programming (OOP) and databases, with experience in SQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
• Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, with a focus on scalability and performance
• Experience in software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience in AWS, Django, Flask, and other Python frameworks is a plus
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
