Python Fullstack (Angular/React) Developer

ACCEPTABLE TECH:

Javascript, Python Must Have

● Full stack - ideally 60% BE, acceptance > 40%

● 5+ years of Software Engineering experience (2y+ as senior engineer, capable of end 2 end development without a lead)

● Hybrid in Bay area: 3 days/week in office

● Startup experience, ideally A (seed - Series C are better than late stage) ● Communicates clearly (concise, logical)

● Something exceptional - eg: elite university, founding successful companies, won prestigous awards, etc

Must NOT Have

● Job hopper – more than 2 <1 year experiences in the last 5 years)

● Manager/lead type – Not coding right now, mainly managing other engineers

● Full Visa Sponsorship (H1B transfer for stellar candidates only)

● Contracting background - worked at a Dev Shop.

● Never had a fulltime job (i.e. only had consulting jobs or founding their own 1-2 people startups)

● Overly focused on frontend development

Strongly Preferred (Positives)

● IMPORTANT: Background (education, hobby) in electronic circuit design or Electrical Engineering or CAD software.

● Deep science or advanced degree in engineering

● Strong Nice to Have: Experience working with AI (either with APIs, training custom models, or research)

● Python & Javascript - smart engineers can learn even if they don't have deep experience yet ● Front end: Angular ideally, other modern front-end frameworks acceptable (React, Vue, Ember, Worked with Electron.js)

● Focused on user experience, not the process/technology

● Side project, especially some sort of electronics
