Python & Scala Developer

Job Description:
MAES Solutions is seeking a skilled and versatile Python & Scala Developer for our team. This role focuses on hands-on development across multiple languages and technologies, including Python, Scala, and Go. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in microservices, AWS, and possibly streaming technologies like Kafka.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain software using Python, Scala, and Go.
Work on various components and services, ensuring high-quality integration.
Implement and manage microservices architecture using Spring Boot.
Utilize AWS services such as EC2, DynamoDB, and PostgreSQL for cloud-based development and deployment.
Navigate AWS dashboards and manage services efficiently.
Collaborate with teams to deliver robust software solutions.
Contribute to streaming solutions, with experience in Kafka being a plus.
Must-Have Skills:
Proficiency in Python and Scala (primary focus).
Experience with Go, Java, and Spring Boot.
Strong understanding of microservices.
Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, etc.).
Ability to work with multiple components across different languages.
Knowledge of Kafka or similar streaming technologies is helpful.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a hybrid work environment (McLean, VA / Plano, TX).
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Strong communication skills.
Experience with other cloud services and modern technologies.
