JOB DESCRIPTION/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

The Python Web Developer performs complex web development work, including development, coding, code validation, accessibility remediation and planning in order to produce accessible web projects using the Django framework.

Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python for creation of web pages/web sites, with ability to code for web browsers across multiple platforms and versions;

Knowledge of web standards and accessibility requirements with ability to use validation tools and techniques.

5RequiredFive years of experience in web or software development. Experience may have occurred concurrently.
3RequiredThree years of experience using Javascript.
2RequiredSixty semester credit hours from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Web Design, Web Development, Web Accessibility, Programming, Emerging Media, Graphic Design, Computer or related field.
1RequiredOne year of experience web development with Python.
1RequiredOne additional year web development or web design work may substitute for thirty semester hours of the required experience, with a maximum substitution of 120 semester hours.
