Python/Db2/Sybase Developer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Python/Db2/Sybase Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong proficiency in Python development and have hands-on experience with database technologies such as Db2 and Sybase. Knowledge of Java is a plus, but not mandatory.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, test, and maintain Python applications to meet business requirements.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
3. Design, implement, and optimize database solutions using Db2 and Sybase.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance and database connectivity.
5. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
6. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance development processes.
Qualifications:
• Strong proficiency in Python development.
• Proven experience with database technologies, specifically Db2 and Sybase.
• Knowledge of Java is a plus.
• Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, with a minimum of 3 days working from the office in New York.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Python development.
• Hands-on experience with Db2 and/or Sybase.
