Job description

Automation and Platform Engineer will be responsible to work on onboarding applications in to Redhat openshift platform, 
Work on middleware configuration management using Ansible, 
Work on Automation of operational tasks using Python for ISAM and LDAP
Also maintain and enhance existing python automation scripts.
Looking for Openshift/Kubernetes, Python, Jenkins and Ansible hands on experience.
Knowledge on ISAM, LDAP, Tomcat and WebSphere.
Ability to learn more as we support almost 60 technologies.
Required Skills/Certifications:

• Strong experience in Kubernetes/Openshift platforms.
• Strong experience in developing python scripts, using APIs and ability to enhance and debug python scripts.
• Experience with configuration management tool Ansible and ability to configure technologies like tomcat, ELK stack
• Triaging and resolving issues with WebSphere, Tomcat and associated technologies.
• Experience using Jenkins, developing and enhancing pipelines and shared libraries to build and deploy artifacts for Java applications.
• Knowledge on ELK (Elastic, Log Stash and Kibana) stack configuration and management.
• Troubleshooting LDAP, ISAM issues and well versed with ldap searches.
• Understanding of SSL, Self-Signed and CA issued certs and keystores (jks, kdb).
• Perform other duties/projects as assigned by the Team Lead/Managers.
• Manage multiple high-profile, complex production applications and implement changes involving multiple teams with minimal disruption to end users
• Provide support for scheduled weekend releases and planned implementations
• Strong team skills and ability to learn new technologies.
