QA Engineer,

Manage the development of IT projects for clients focusing on planning, directing and coordinating activities related to computer software quality assurance through testing, trouble shooting and defect management: coordinate the study and analysis of client business processes to ascertain the functionality requirements of software applications; ensure that the best quality of software will be developed in accordance with clients organizational policies, software quality standards and testing procedures and methodologies; accountable for quality assurance in the entire software development life cycle; lead quality assurance tasks for division or company-wide software projects and programs; lead a team of QA Testers; lead the design and execution of testing on a wide range of software systems to ensure that software systems meet the standards against defined functional and nonfunctional requirements; review and approve software test plan, traceability matrix, and test scripts; oversea the performing of various testing, including functionality testing, load testing, regression test, GUI testing, and testing data base and web services; in charge of test planning and resource estimation and allocation; plan and manage test schedule and resources based on the schedule and resources of the entire development project; oversee the conversion of requirements documents (business requirements, functional requirements and technical requirements) into test strategies and test cases; assess technical viability of new software testing products and technologies; review and approve test and quality assurance reports; hold meetings related to test results and quality assurance. Use Jira, Java Script, HTML, C/C++/C#, Test.Net, Script Wizard, Web Runner, Echo UI, Product Studio, WTT, Quality Center, ClearQuest, SoapUI, Clear Case, UFT/QTP, MS Visual Studio, .Net, Visual Studio.Net, IIS, PL/SQL, Sybase, MySQL, Windows Server, SQL Server, Agile Methodology, SQL DB, Doors, Ralley, Oracle,TOAD and MS Project.

Educational requirements: Bachelor's or its foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science & Engineering.

Work Experience requirements: 5 years' experience in the job offered or in a related occupation as a Sr. Quality Engineer, Software Engineer, Computer Systems Analyst, Software Quality Assurance Engineer, Test Engineer, or Senior Test Engineer.

Specific skill or other requirements: The required 5 years of work experience must include at least 2 years of experience with reviewing test plan, traceability matrix, and test scripts; performing at least 3 types of testing in the job duties, and at least 1 year of experience with Jira, Quality Center, ClearQuest, and SoapUI. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable. Travel and/or relocation to the client site is required.

Job location: Various unanticipated client sites throughout the U.S.; thus, travel and/or relocation to the client site is required.

Work schedule: 9 AM - 5 PM. Monday to Friday.
