Title: QA Engineer with Capital Markets experience

Location: Chicago IL (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in QA, with a proven track record of success in a financial services environment (ideally Capital Markets or Fund Accounting).
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in writing and executing automated test scripts using frameworks like Selenium or Robot Framework.
• Experience with SQL and ability to write complex queries to analyze data.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Three days per week onsite in Downtown Chicago is required.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute test plans for new and existing applications across the Capital Markets and Fund Accounting domains.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, Robot Framework).
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
• Review code for quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Perform data validation and analysis using SQL queries.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and methodologies.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts.
