Description

 

  • Responsible for developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. 
  • This person is involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and test execution. 
  • The Quality Assurance Test Lead works on projects of high complexity within one or more development environments and on multiple programs/systems as a test lead.  
  • The Quality Assurance Test Lead is responsible for leading onshore and offshore people.  
  • This person is considered a subject matter expert for a single program/system. 
  • He/she has the ability to lead a team through effective delegation, training, and motivation.  
  • The Quality Assurance Test Lead has the ability to track multiple test efforts simultaneously and to be able to synthesize the results in fast paced environment. 
  • Proficient in using HP Test Suite or other Testing Tools.  
  • Delivers quality process training to technical staff and acts as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners.  

 

Responsibilities:
 

o Responsible for analyzing requirement documents and design test cases by using different Test Design techniques.
o To work closely with Development team to understand the design document and also work closely with designers to clarify ambiguities.
o The role requires to work with offshore team, in providing updates, clarifying any questions, get status from offshore team and to resolve any roadblocks. 
o Also responsible to send daily status reports to all project stakeholders.
o Responsible to identify any risks and mitigate the risks. 
o The role requires good knowledge of Cable domain, with CSG billing system experience.
o Attending Stand Up Calls
o Interacting with the extenal team like PMO, Dev , Temp Dev and BA 
o Prepration of status reports for all stakeholders 
o Planning and assigning the team members tasks for the day
