QA Tester/Architect

• I am looking to recruit a QA Tester/Architect for my team. Here is the job description:
• Experience in the definition of test strategies and test plans to validate complex application solutions in a senior IT role. Review and understand cross-system impacts during the creation of test plans. Provide application risk analysis and recommend mitigation plan. Assist with identification of test environment and test data requirements Implement process improvements in all areas impacting application quality. Liaise with Development and Support and Enterprise Architecture to ensure the testing aligns with the architecture, business and functional requirements. Liaise with Business Partners to ensure test strategies meet project and application needs. Lead and collaborate with the Project Teams, Business Systems Analysts, other Architects, etc. to create, drive and communicate the overall test strategy, working towards project delivery. Assist with the preparation of estimates for performing QA activities on new technology applications and maintenance of existing applications. Mentor and knowledge transfer to applicable teams. Work across more than one technology component or development effort to ensure correctness, consistency, continuity, and efficiency. Ensure test deliverables scalable, maintainable and can be reused for complex business applications. Should be able to perform other team role tasks, as resource requirements and skill sets dictate. support and architecture so that testing meets architectural, functional and business requirements Liaise with business partners to ensure testing strategies meet customer needs projects and applications Lead project teams, business systems analysts, other architects, etc. and collaborate with them to create, manage and communicate the overall testing strategy.
  
   

Other Technical Skills

 

• Experience with insurance adjudication testing
• Experience with pharmacy insurance adjudication systems
• Familiar with the Ontario Ministry of Health’s Drug Benefits Program, e.g. application process, patient onboarding, paper claims.
• Experience working with HPE Nonstop system
