Overview: As a QA Tester specializing in the Property and Casualty Insurance domain, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our insurance software solutions. This role demands a keen understanding of property and casualty insurance processes, attention to detail, and the ability to design and execute comprehensive testing strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Requirements Analysis collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand project requirements related to property and casualty insurance.
- Translate business requirements into comprehensive test cases and scenarios.
- Test Planning and Strategy develop and implement testing strategies for property and casualty insurance applications.
- Create detailed test plans, including scope, objectives, resources, and schedule.
- Test Execution execute functional, integration, and regression tests to ensure the reliability of property and casualty insurance software.
- Conduct end-to-end testing to validate system workflows and interactions.
- Domain Expertise demonstrate a deep understanding of property and casualty insurance concepts, including policy administration/Billing/claims processing and risk management.
- Apply domain knowledge to identify potential areas of risk and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Defect Tracking and Reporting document and track defects, providing detailed information to development teams for resolution.
- Generate comprehensive test summary reports for stakeholders, outlining test results, issues, and recommendations.
- Collaboration works closely with developers, business analysts, and other team members to communicate testing progress and results.
- Participate in requirement review meetings to ensure testability and address any ambiguities.
- Compliance and Regulation ensure that testing activities comply with industry regulations and standards applicable to property and casualty insurance.
- Stay informed about changes in regulatory requirements affecting the insurance domain.
