Overview: As a QA Tester specializing in the Property and Casualty Insurance domain, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our insurance software solutions. This role demands a keen understanding of property and casualty insurance processes, attention to detail, and the ability to design and execute comprehensive testing strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Analysis collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand project requirements related to property and casualty insurance.
  • Translate business requirements into comprehensive test cases and scenarios.
  • Test Planning and Strategy develop and implement testing strategies for property and casualty insurance applications.
  • Create detailed test plans, including scope, objectives, resources, and schedule.
  • Test Execution execute functional, integration, and regression tests to ensure the reliability of property and casualty insurance software.
  • Conduct end-to-end testing to validate system workflows and interactions.
  • Domain Expertise demonstrate a deep understanding of property and casualty insurance concepts, including policy administration/Billing/claims processing and risk management.
  • Apply domain knowledge to identify potential areas of risk and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Defect Tracking and Reporting document and track defects, providing detailed information to development teams for resolution.
  • Generate comprehensive test summary reports for stakeholders, outlining test results, issues, and recommendations.
  • Collaboration works closely with developers, business analysts, and other team members to communicate testing progress and results.
  • Participate in requirement review meetings to ensure testability and address any ambiguities.
  • Compliance and Regulation ensure that testing activities comply with industry regulations and standards applicable to property and casualty insurance.
  • Stay informed about changes in regulatory requirements affecting the insurance domain.
