Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

What You Will Be Doing

Ensure that software and firmware products conform to business requirements/company policies, software quality standards, and established procedures.

Confirm that testable systems are specified, designed and implemented.
Create the SQA project toolkit.
Develop automated regression test suites using automated testing tools.
Design, document and implement procedures and techniques that are consistent with departmental SQA Methodology.
Recommend and assist in corrective actions taken at all stages of the product life.
Submit and track production (maintenance) and release issues in their respective systems.
Take part in the formalized review process for design stages including requirements, design, coding, and unit testing.

Experience You Will Need

5-7 years of industry experience as a software quality assurance engineer.
BS degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field.
Experience in conducting unit testing utilizing robust testing methodologies.
Familiarity with software safety standards in FAA (DO-178B), UK (Def Std 0056), USAF (Mil-Std-882).
Hands-on experience in automation and a good understanding of automation testing strategies and tools.
Experience in reporting, regressing and reproducing software problems.
Knowledge of verification of requirements traceability and configuration management of software/firmware.
