Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) for a contract position. The ideal candidate has great communication skills, can remove roadblocks, detail oriented, and has a knack for breaking websites. QAE's regularly work with Developers, Product Managers and other Quality Engineers to ensure the proper operation of the production environment. During the development cycle, QAEs identify use cases, create test cases, execute tests, and report results.
Work on testing Devices at the user level, both manually and with automated tools. QAEs are part of the process of understand the product in detail and updating the test case tool with test execution results. They learn to write and maintain black-box test cases based on well-defined feature requirements, writing tests cases (not test plans) that are high quality, high value, and maintainable. QAEs help to produce good reproducible defect reports to verify fixed bugs are truly fixed.

QUALIFICATIONS

# BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience 0-2 years industry experience testing software, including website applications.
# Experience with Mobile App or Web manual testing.
# Knowledge of QA methodology and tools and prefer experience with TestRail, Jira and Confluence as bug tracking system
# Proficiency working in a Linux/Unix environment.
# Experience with QA process and Software Development Life Cycle.
# Good analytical ability and QA acumen, Ability to understand technical specifications and analyse log files
