Quality Assurance Test Engineer

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Provide testing support for tour family products.
• Ensure product quality through the application of technical and testing skills.
• Create test cases, complete manual test scripts, and perform ad-hoc testing for requirement validation, acceptance criteria validation, integration, regression, performance, and usability testing.
• Help write user stories with acceptance criteria that determine specific testable product functionality.
• Perform and complete testing tasks for application releases (includes new development and testing of existing functionality).
• Support testing of application and environmental upgrades and resolution of production issues.
• Provide solutions tour web developers when automated tests fail (e.g. supply new testing cases treplace in the automated testing suite).
• Create test documentation (e.g. standards, scripts).
• Work with web developers to automate tests that can be moved tCI.
• Communicate test results.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with a major or specialized courses in: Economics, Statistics, Finance, or Computer Science or similar field of study or commensurate experience.
• 2 years experience in software testing mostly as a Manual Quality Assurance Test Engineer.
• Proficient in writing test scripts and test cases for requirement validation, integration, regression, performance, and usability testing and a combination of the following.
• Experience working with agile teams.
• Familiarity with SQL.
• Experience with tools such as GitLab and Selenium.
• Knowledge of automated testing.
• Understanding of 508 compliance testing and knowledge of usability testing.
