Description

Duties:
Performs repetitive testing and inspection of the company's products using validated software. Performs analyses finished product from other sections of manufacturing or performs investigations according to established procedures to determine conformance to acceptance specifications for a particular chemical or physical property. Prepares instruments and apparatus according to established procedures to support the testing activities of the unit. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. May be responsible for supporting customer complaint evaluations and event reporting obligations, including but not limited to: product investigations, disinfection, evaluation, and preliminary failure analysis. Special projects will be performed as needed.
Specialized knowledge generally of particular area, system or equipment. Requires specific training and/or certification. Applies some advanced skills to the position or specialization. May adapt procedures, processes, tools equipment and techniques to meet the more complex requirements of the position. Duties are generally routine but may include non-routine tasks. Resolves most questions and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels. Applies basic skills and may develop advanced skills appropriate for the position. Key Roles and Responsibilities
Performs analyses of finished products to determine conformance to accepted specifications.
Performs product verifications to ensure products are qualified for production use
Performs test stand preventative maintenance procedures for the purpose of ensuring proper test stand operations
Investigational testing of production and pilot material, as needed
Performs stability testing that monitors product claims, relative to product shelf life

Skills
High school diploma or equivalency
Specialized or advanced training in science, electronics or related field
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
Detail oriented
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
Basic computer skills with competency using standard software packages (Word, Excel, Google Sheets)
Thorough understanding of appropriate safety procedures
