Quality Engineer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Read parts drawings and make injection molding and assembly process plans to satisfy drawing. Must be able to coordinate between various departments such as Mold / Production / Quality to develop tooling quality for mass production. Must have ability to comprehend current manufacturing costs and make improvements in process (Cycle time reductions, defect reductions, etc.) to increase profitability. Must be able to communicate technical information to mold shop, production, quality department to accomplish goals and targets for process.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree (B. S. / B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
