React JS Developer

The Supply Chain Fresh team is responsible for providing technology solutions for the purpose of improving the freshness of produce, meat, and seafood from Farm to Fork. The Senior React Developer is accountable for creating high quality deliverables compliant with established standards that meet business needs. This role provides leadership, analysis, design, and development tasks required to deliver critical business solutions. This posting is for development on a newer Web application with a front end developed using React JS. This web application has been in use for less than one year. This application will be the source for produce, meat, and seafood quality specifications.

·        Team details ie. size, dynamics, locations - This team is located at the BTC in Cincinnati
·        Work Location (in office, hybrid, remote) - Hybrid - BTC 3 days/ week, plus 2 work from home days. Fully remote candidates will not be considered. Must be local to Cincinnati
·        Required Working Hours - Standard business hours, EST
Requirements
·        5+ years of experience developing websites/web applications
·        5+ years of JavaScript experience (TypeScript experience a plus)
·        5+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and Git
·        5+ years of experience with React JS
·        Experience building and optimizing web applications
·        Experience working with RESTful services on cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS Cloud
·        Experience with the Spring Framework (Persistence, REST, Messaging, Integrations), including Spring Boot
·        4+ years of experience with continuous integration and automated testing integration
·        Understanding of network and security architecture
·        Proficient with code versioning tools such as Git and GitHub SaaS
·        Ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical requirements
