Job Description

. Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Administer Red Hat Satellite Server for managing Linux environments, updates, and patching.
Support storage migration activities using Logical Volume Manager (LVM), ASM, and Multipath technologies.
Implement and automate infrastructure tasks using Ansible.
Write and maintain scripts (Perl, Bash, Python) to automate repetitive tasks and streamline system operations.
Perform performance monitoring using Nagios, identifying and resolving bottlenecks in system operations.
Manage virtualized environments with VMware, ensuring proper system availability and resource utilization.
Work with Docker containers, Kubernetes, Rancher, and OpenShift for containerization and orchestration.
Collaborate with network and cloud engineers to design and maintain public cloud solutions (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Participate in data center migration projects and provide support during the transition.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Linux systems, networking, and virtualization.

Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
3+ years of experience with Red Hat Satellite Server.
5+ years of experience with networking and understanding of networking protocols.
3+ years of experience with storage migration (LVM, ASM, Multipath).
2+ years of experience with Ubuntu Linux and IBM/AIX.
3+ years of experience in automation with Ansible.
5+ years of scripting experience (Perl, Bash, Python, etc.).
2+ years of experience with performance monitoring tools such as Nagios.
3+ years of experience in VMware administration.
2+ years of experience working in public cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
2+ years of experience with Docker containers, Kubernetes, Rancher, and OpenShift.
Experience with data center migration projects is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
