Relay Service Engineer

You will be working as Relay Service Engineer and will be part of Electrification business area for Services division based in Vadodara, India. In this role you will be reporting to Service Team Leader and will be responsible for conducting testing and verification activities for assignments of low or medium testing complexity of systems, subsystems or products effectively and cost-efficiently and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements and cybersecurity policies and standards.

Your responsibilities

• Independently handling of relay service center or customer with smooth co-ordination among all stake holders
• Adhering to ABB way safety guidelines in relay repair center
• Collecting of job certifications from customer and project closure documentation activities
• Managing and coordinating service partners at site for smooth job execution
• Coordinating with relay operation factory for relay repairing activities
• Communicating with customer on the relay issues and status of the relays

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in handling relay repair related activities
• Should have good knowledge on relays and various protection system
• Should have knowledge on the relay repair invoicing and maintaining the records.
• Knowledge on the handling of various configuration tool like PCM 600, CAP500 for ABB make numerical relays
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
