Duties:
======
Duties involve IT Release Management, change management, Infrastructure Upgrade project management, Major Incident Management, Problem Management, Environment Management, Deployment Management, Refresh Management & Information Security Compliance for Global IT Enterprise Applications in Equinix. The project involves working with various teams in IT to manage the security patching of various Operating System (OS), DB & Application, as part of Threat & Vulnerability Management (TVM). Following activities will be involved:
Maintaining project management & tracking tools like Jira, Microsoft project, Microsoft excel, MS Teams Task board for IT Release Management activities
Collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams in IT, Products & Infra for Coordination & tracking environment refresh & readiness, regression sanity & load testing for various release cycles (DEV, SIT, UAT & Dress Rehearsals, Data Migration Dry Runs & POC)
Coordinating execution of production cutover
Sending the release communication mailers & downtime / uptime notices for Prod & Non-Prod
Individual contributor role
Coordinate Infrastructure project execution & publish status report
Run P1 bridges & escalate (if required) for blocker integration / performance issues in supporting Release DEV, SIT, UAT & Dress Rehearsal cycles
Co-ordinating with all stakeholders in different time zones for takeover & handover
Managing major incidents in production (MIM) as a communication manager
Co-ordinating & Maintaining the Release logs, Instances and Server, Database inventories
Coordinating security vulnerability patching execution in various business applications, DBs & servers
Coordinate activities of Release application deployments & manage downtime for non-Prod
Creating & tracking JIRA & ServiceNow ticket for RCA, STF & LTF for all Non-prod & Prod issues
Change review & approvals and Incident management
Skills

Ready to work in any shift & weekends
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint will be an added advantage
Ability to coordinate with multiple teams to ensure tasks are completed in time with the release schedule
Focus on scheduling accuracy
ServiceNow & Jira End User Administration (Optional)
Basic Network and Infrastructure configuration understanding (Good to have)
Willingness to learn new skills & embrace new technology
Typically, from any technology background
Ability to do escalations when required
Education & Experience

MCA/BCA/Diploma degree in computer science or a related field is generally the minimum educational requirement for this position
Upto 2 Years of Experience in Service Management role & long term commitment
PMP certification, ITIL, Scrum (Optional)
