Job Description:
Works closely with the ePowertrain component and sub-system teams (power-source, power electronics, motors, and controls) to simulate the ePowertrain system performance for a particular ePowertrain configuration.
Responsibilities
* Executing ePowertrain NPI simulation requests and communicating results and/or learning.
* Work with the ePowertrain simulation team to document our core simulation processes and ensure that processes are followed.
* Help in developing new simulation capabilities that are necessary to predict ePowertrain system performance and durability.
* Help develop and document our core simulation processes and ensure that he/she follows those processes.
* Report progress on simulation requests.
* Document significant results/findings of simulation activities.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
* OR Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Preferred)
* At least 10 years of experience performing 1D system simulation.
* Excellent communication skills
* Attention to detail
* Ability to work with cross functional teams
* Ability to work on-site full time
