Description
This position is for Software Solution Architect who will support and complete the tasks necessary to design and implement a methodology to enable the MDHHS Health Services ESB to track the transmission of messages and provide additional related services supporting the interfaces for systems connecting to the Data Hub. Solution Architect will work under the direction of DTMB Customer Services, MDHHS and DTMB cross matrix teams to support and complete the tasks necessary for the MDHHS Enterprise ISA technical team. The resource is integral to supporting and improving MDHHS automated processes, streamlining critical business processes, data integrity, SEM/SUITE compliance, and securing the applications. As a lead, the resource participates in a variety of assignments that provides for the enhancement, integration, maintenance, and implementation of projects. The resource will also provide application oversight to business analysts and to other teams integrating with Health Enterprise Service Bus (HESB). Not having a Solutions Architect on staff will delay ongoing and future project work within the area and lead to DTMB inability to deliver on periodized enhancements and maintenance from HESB to all major applications like MDSS , EDRS , myHB/HP ,MICR , MIHIN, MPHI etc.
Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To
- Responsible for developing solutions for new use cases.
- Responsible for developing ROMs for new use cases.
- Responsible for overall system design
- Review and approve system design for new use cases.
- Responsible for overall code and configuration
- Review and approve code deliverables.
- Coach and mentor developers
- Code of applications, interfaces, modules, components, and reports
- Complete testing plan and checklists
- Produce requested Systems Engineering Methodology (SEM) deliverables.
- Complete transition and maintenance plans to enable state staff to maintain applications, code, interfaces, modules, components, and reports.
- Perform knowledge transfer to state staff.
- Create technical documentation.
- Document and maintain the Incident Response Plan (IRP)
- Document, track and resolve technical exception requests (TRB)
- Document and maintain the Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP)
- Responsible for Health Service ESB’s SSP / ATO / POAMS
- Follow configuration management processes implemented.
- Vendor support for Rhapsody licensing and software.
Required Technical And Health Care IT Skills
- Java or Java script programming

- HL7 version 2.x messaging

- CDA standards and related document types
- Health care vocabularies; LONIC, SNOMED, RxNorm
- Health Information Exchange (HIE) technology
- Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE)
- Implementing solutions based on Implementation Guides
Required Rhapsody Skills Including
- Using latest Orion Health Rhapsody Integration Engine (7.x)
- Using Rhapsody Developer Kit (RDK) to create custom filters, mappers, etc.
- Custom message payload translation from one format (e.g., JSON, XML, HL7) to a different format (e.g., proprietary/legacy format)
- Experience using web services, SOAP, REST, OAUTH, TCP-connections, LLP, etc.
- Experience using transport encryption/security; TLS, mutual authorization via certificates, etc.
