Job Description Within the Technical Department of Safran Electronics & Defense, the Research and Technology (R&T) projects department includes a Robotics and Autonomous Systems Department. For this pole, we are looking for an engineer for embedded software development activities with a view to supporting R&T projects on autonomous terrestrial robotic systems. You will be required to carry out structured analysis processes in close collaboration with the product teams, from the identification of use cases to the construction of software architectures. You will have to enjoy carrying out analyzes of customer needs and building a solution exactly as needed.

Job Requirements With a BAC +5 background, you have practical experience in software engineering on embedded systems, you master C++ object programming and know the DDS communication protocol commonly used in robotics. Expertise in terrestrial robotics, knowledge of the ROS2 protocol and containerization techniques (Docker type), would be a plus. With a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience, or a beginner but with a very strong appetite for terrestrial robotics with associated study projects, the candidate must enjoy working in the field to integrate their developments into prototypes and carry out tests. characterization.
