Overview of the role:

This is an Individual contributor role . You will be responsible for the technical design , advisor on infrastructure set up and director of development of automation related to RPA spanning multiple products of different RPA product vendors – especially Automation Anywhere, UI Path and Power Automate/ Microsoft’s Power Platform. Experienced in RPA solution design , development , testing and deployment including RPA administration and RPA infrastructure set up. As an automation and RPA Architect /Lead , you’ll partner with other RPA consultants , business analysts , practice leaders, go-to-market leaders, business development executives and client partners to understand client imperatives and build and develop appropriate RPA solutions.

You will contribute to development and individually design an end-to-end RPA solution for different client situations. The primary focus will be to design and help build , develop and implement best RPA solution fit.

You will design stable/reusable and scalable RPA solution while ensuring that it follows all the best practices prevalent and agreed upon (with either customer or internal standards )at the outset of the engagement. The aim is to build right first time keeping in mind the performance of the delivered solution.

The RPA Architect / Lead will be integral to Sage IT’s RPA and Automation Practice and lead from the front in all customer engagements. As part of our Automation and RPA Practice , you will build, design and direct development and deployment of RPA solutions for customers and in house requirements. You will utilize your experience across various RPA tools and technologies to automate business processes and contribute to design , innovation, product planning, tools evaluation and ISV engagement . You will be a key participant and drive transformational RPA led solutions that will support growth of this technology practice . In addition, you will contribute and develop artifacts for standards, guidelines, best practices, case studies, white papers, and accelerators. From a customer engagement perspective, you will –

• Contribute / Suggest appropriate set of technology and tools to be used to build solutions
• Participate to capture and understand the end to end business processes and help design the most appropriate RPA solution
• Build, design, direct development , and provide technical guidance and oversight to project teams and assist in deployment of RPA Bots
• Make sure implemented RPA solution is supported through changes in technologies and tools

Strong knowledge of RPA products , technologies and tools , RPA development lifecycle and familiarity of business functions and process understanding is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

As an RPA Architect /Lead , your primary responsibilities will be to assist in estimates and design and implementation of RPA solutions This will include setting up the RPA admin functions and the associated infrastructure required to support the RPA solution designed.

· Write solution design document (SDD) for guided end to end documentation of the identified process to be automated .

· Perform code review - also define the rules and regulations for Troubleshooting, Debugging, Internal Testing & Workflow Analyzer rules

· Try to optimize the AS-IS process by suggesting technical alternatives

· Perform effort estimation for project in requirement gathering phase to streamline RPA lifecycle

· Perform SDD sign off

· Define the requirements of solution design such as, number of robots required, configuration type, assets, queue, triggers, execution approach & human in loop approach if needed

· Define the reusable components and create library of such modules if project reuses these on high requirement.

· Create logging and reporting dashboards to visualize the output

· Create knowledge base on Confluence page/ knowledge portal for Development best practices

· Help client understand the RPA transition in every stage of RPA lifecycle

· Help project manager, tech lead , RPA developers and business analyst to maintain the technical level synchronization

· Setting up Development, Testing (UAT) & Production orchestrator environment

· Give technical inputs & change in process if needed to optimize the AS-IS process

Skills & Experience:

· Minimum 9-12 years of core programming experience

· Must have excellent knowledge of programming like C, C++, Java, and Python

· Comprehensive knowledge of UiPath and Automation Anywhere products and their licensing

· Experienced on .Net, C# & VB. (At least 3 years)

· Minimum 4+ years of end to end RPA development experience

· Developed at least 20 plus bots of varied types - OCR, human in loop , task automation- and

led the design and development cycle from requirements through deployment Knowledge on

RPA infrastructure setup, storage, firewall, load balancer, routers, database, etc.

· Ability to visualize and draw architecture diagram

· Excellent conceptual & analytical skills

· Team player with cross team experience

· Time conscious and schedule oriented RPA professional

· Excellent communicator who can clearly outline technical details to any audience

Please note that this role will operate out of Frisco, TX with travel on need basis. No international relocation at this time
