RPG Programmer Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Supports and performs software design, development, and unit testing
• Maintains and enhances existing systems
• Partners with Business resources, Operations resources, Project Managers, and Business Systems Analysts to deliver projects
• Integrates Commercial-Off-The-Shelf Products/Tools
• Conducts detailed software research and analysis
• Supports User Acceptance Testing
• Creates and maintains software development/programming-related documentation
• Supports production related issues (if/as/when needed)
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Top skills you need to have:

• BS Technical degree preferred (e.g., CS, MIS, ECE, EE)
• 5+ years software development/programming experience
• 5+ years’ experience debugging RPG
• Platform experience: AS400, SQL
• Programming languages:  RPG, Java, JavaScript
• Familiarity with the Transportation Industry a plus
• Experience supporting an iSeries and related peripherals.
• Experience supporting several software development methodologies (i.e., waterfall, agile, rapid prototyping)
• Knowledge of Enrich, BOA, TL2000 a huge plus.
• Strong customer service orientation
• Good verbal and written communications skills
