This position will possess the following primary job duties: •         This position will play a primary role in developing solutions for two similar SailPoint Identity Access Management Applications - Duke Energy’s NERC CIP ID Manager, a highly regulated and critical Identity Access Management application at Duke Energy, and it’s corporate counterpart - Corporate ID Manager.  This role will also perform development activities for Archer’s Governance, Risk, and Compliance Application. This will involve providing technical guidance, working on new feature requests / code enhancements with the product owners. •         Develop and implement enhancement requests while working effectively with less defined direction requiring greater judgement. •         Works with vendors to implement and/or resolve defects, maintenance, patches, upgrades, etc. •         Utilizes waterfall and agile methodologies to develop and maintain applications. •         Ensures adherence to all regulatory requirements •         Provides recommendations and assists in decision making at an application/integration system level. •         Utilizes appropriate Human Performance tools, especially during testing and implementation activities. •         Programs and directs other programmers in required programming languages.  Assists with testing and migrating code through test regions. Ensures adherence to appropriate design, coding, and source control standards.  Leads design and code walk-throughs as a presenter or reviewer. •         Can present information on technically complex subjects in an understandable manner in both oral and written form.  Recognizes appropriate times to provide this communication. •         Exhibits maturity, confidence and a proper level of assertiveness when needed.  Effectively handles stress and frustration.  Demonstrates the ability to absorb change and continue with positive results. Required Qualifications: •         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline •         4+ years’ experience with application development and support •         Strong interpersonal skills and written/oral communications skills to work effectively with business partners, peer IT resources, managed service providers and all levels of management •         Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills •         Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and properly prioritize required tasks •         Experience working within an application solution delivery life cycle Desired Qualifications            Technical Skills (in order of preference): •           o    Intermediate Java skills o    Ability to troubleshoot/debug code/technical support o    IT Service Management experience o    Strong SQL Server Skills o    Familiarity with Identity Access Management (IAM) Application models, Role-Based Access Controls o    Familiarity with relational databases o    Version control (Git, BitBucket Subversion, etc.) o    Splunk o    Citrix o    Informatica ETLs o    Cloud based application implementation experience o    Kafka o    Interface and application integration experience o    Demonstrated understanding of data integration architectures including ODS and Data Warehouse concepts •         Experience with SailPoint. •         Experience working as an Archer Administrator •         Implementation and integration with other tools experience •         Experience with highly regulated applications •         Experience with applicable Duke standards, IT Security, and ability to apply/produce appropriate deliverables •         Experience working with remote teams •         Helpful traits for this role include critical thinking, self-starting, inquisitiveness, and a desire to grow and learn
