The role of the Services Sales Executive is to be responsible for positioning and selling professional services to ServiceNow customers. Those customers may be new or existing and could work with our Professional Services independently, or through a partner relationship. Our Services Sales roles differ from those of other ServiceNow services partners in that the objective is to provide rapid time to value through high-quality, advanced services that drive the consumption of the ServiceNow platform.
- Sell Professional Services to Enterprise Customers.
- Develop pipeline through strong and active relationships with regional sales teams.
- Establish partnership with Sales, Alliances & Channels and Customer Success.
- Position packaged services within customer proposals and partner-led customer relationships.
- Position Advisory Services in partner-led projects and programs.
- Business opportunity identification, analysis, and development.
- Shows advanced understanding of market dynamics and trends, using this to validate recommended business opportunities. Conducts advanced business analysis to exploit opportunities.
- Leverages an advanced knowledge of the organizations' growth strategy, product, and services to guide internal initiatives. Leverages advanced knowledge to drive complex feasibility study processes that identify business opportunities and result in economic advantages. Leverages a strong understanding of specialization and broad multidisciplinary understanding to educate and engage others on longer-term sources for organic growth.
Mandatory Skills:
- Professional level of experience in selling professional services and/or solutions in the software industry.
- Consultative sales experience.
- Ability to build and collaborate strong relationships within the internal and external ecosystem, ensuring proper engagement with core teams and customers.
- Excellent communication skills, analytical skills and thorough understanding of cloud application technology and trends.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding quota and key success metrics.
- Ability to segment account list and identify appropriate investment of resources.
- Cross-functional teamwork skills. Able to handle tough conversations and challenging meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Display a balance of strategic and tactual skills with a high level of intellectual agility.
- Strong focus on ownership and execution against deadlines while managing multiple opportunities at a time.
- Travel required up to 30-40%.
